However, I must emphasize that under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, consumers have the right to return online purchases within 14 days, even if the packaging has been opened, as long as the product has only been inspected and not excessively used. The perfume was only opened for inspection, which is a legitimate consumer right. Many reputable retailers accept returns of opened perfumes, as they are still resellable. Your refusal to accept the return appears to be in violation of EU consumer protection laws. If you continue to deny my legal right to return, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter to the European Consumer Centre (EVZ) Germany and Verbraucherzentrale Deutschland.
